Integrative Support
Aliza believes in using an integrative approach that focuses on resolving underlying causes of mental illness so that patients may go beyond symptom reduction and attain a state of wellness. Aliza is a Certified Integrative Psychiatric Provider through the Institute for Integrative Psychiatry. This advanced training allows her to thoughtfully integrate conventional psychiatric treatment with complementary, research-informed approaches to support more comprehensive and individualized care.
Nutraceuticals & Targeted Supplementation
When appropriate, Aliza may recommend evidence-based nutraceuticals (supplements) as complementary to, or substitutes for, conventional pharmaceuticals. These may be used to support concerns such as depression, anxiety, attention difficulties, fatigue, sleep disturbances, and stress-related symptoms.
Specialty Lab Testing
When clinically indicated, Aliza may obtain specialty lab testing to evaluate physiological contributors to mental health symptoms (e.g., nutritional deficiencies, hormonal shifts, metabolic issues, or inflammation). These results may help provide diagnostic clarity, inform treatment plans, and support referrals and collaboration with additional providers who can provide more in-depth assessment and specialized treatment.
Lifestyle & Mind-Body Factors
Integrative psychiatric care considers how sleep, nutrition, stress physiology, inflammation, hormonal balance, gut health, and nervous system regulation may contribute to psychiatric symptoms. Treatment planning may include education and guidance around these factors as part of a comprehensive approach.
