Aliza Madden, APRN-BC, PMHNP-BC

Aliza Madden, APRN-BC, PMHNP-BC is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry trained at Columbia University who provides psychodynamically oriented psychotherapy, medication management, and integrative support for individuals ages 12 and up. Aliza helps her patients explore and work through their emotional challenges so that they can improve their relationships and overall mental health, change negative patterns of behavior, and find the freedom to live more fulfilling and meaningful lives. Sessions are offered in-person in Ridgefield, CT or via telehealth for residents of New York and Connecticut.

Aliza earned her Master of Science in Psychiatric Nursing at Columbia University in 2018 and worked in residential, inpatient, and community-based outpatient mental health settings prior to opening her private practice. Aliza is highly trained to diagnose and treat mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, depression and mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder using a combination of psychotherapy, medication, and integrative support depending on each individual’s needs and preferences.

Aliza is a Child, Adolescent, and Parent Psychotherapy Training Program candidate at the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (WCSPP). She is also in the process of completing the Integrative Psychiatry Certificate Program at the Institute for Integrative Psychiatry.
